1 / Can I drop my child(ren) off?

Wonder is not a childcare facility or service. Children must be accompanied by an alert and mindful adult at all times.

2 / Are there admission time limits?

Admissions are for a two-hour period of play inside, however you may continue your time at Wonder outside after that period of time for as long as you desire while we are open and weather permitting.

3 / Can I do a drop-in play experience or do I need to book in advance?

We are happy to accommodate you as long as we are not at capacity! We do recommend booking in advance so you don't run the risk of us being fully booked as we do limit our capacity for a less chaotic experience.

4 / Do I keep my shoes on?

For inside play, we ask all customers to remove their shoes or place a cover over their shoes as we want to limit outside germs being on surface areas children will be playing on. Kiddos MUST wear grippy socks to avoid slipping on the hardwood floors. You can bring your own (must be non-skid!) or purchase in our retail store. We have dedicated areas for shoe removal and single-use shoe covers available for caregivers who prefer to not remove their shoes.

5 / What is the target age range for Wonder?

Our experience is tailored towards walkers to around age six, but every child is a little different, so please use this as a general and not a firm range. We have activities older kiddos will enjoy as well! If you have any specific questions about your experience or would like to discuss any accessibility concerns, please contact us and we'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.

6 / Is outside food allowed?

No outside food is allowed. We have selection of snacks available for purchase. We require customers to consume snacks outside unless not feasible due to weather.

7 / My school or community group is looking to schedule an event - you cater to a larger group?

Absolutely – we'd love to work with you! Please reach out and we can design a plan for play that meets your group's needs.

8 / What happens if I miss my admission time?

All purchases are non-refundable; however, we understand extenuating circumstances do happen. Don’t hesitate to reach out to us at contact@wonderleesburg.com and we are happy to see if we can work something out.

9 / How are stations planned?

Every station is a curated experience with critical developmental purpose and consideration of the senses – sight, touch, sound. Every station is generated or vetted by our Advisory board of professionals. To learn what each station is focused on, check-out our Development Posters available at each station, and how you can practice those skills at home too!

10 / Do I need a ticket as a caregiver to visit with my child(ren)?

Yes! All children (older than 12 months and/or walking) and adults need a ticket to participate in the Wonder Childhood Discovery Experience. Much like museums, parks or other entertainment experiences, we use this as a way to manage capacity which greatly influences the experience. Additionally, this enables parents to really be mindful of the time with their child, engage in stations, and ensure adults are actively responsible and watching their minors. We also structure the station guides with developmental guidance for each activity and flex these muscles at home with ideas designed by our Advisory Board to include a Dr. Occupational Therapy.

11 / Do I need to pay to bring my infant with me?

No. If your child is not yet walking then we do not require an admission and yes! of course you may bring them!

12 / Do you offer play room design services?

Yes! We do. Please reach out at contact@wonderleesburg.com to discuss your play room project with us!
